About the Project

Many cases of crime, theft and property destruction reported in Uganda today are on the rise. As a result, many people are deprived of security of property and lives. There is need to monitor, report and track user locations for safety purposes of property and lives with authorization of victims to provide quicker assistance in terms of emergency medical ans security services. Therefore, Wetase was developed after a research conducted in various areas to solve the problems faced in Uganda today which as a result, require emergency services. Wetase Emergency and Tracking System is an instant message alert system for emergency to provide quicker accessible solutions in an emergency.     This project was supervised by Mr. Mwotil Alex , lecturer Makerere University, Faculty of Computing and Information Sciences.

About Us
